Cancellation & Rescheduling

How we handle changes to your booking.

1. Overview

Life happens. Plans change, people fall ill, and weather refuses to cooperate.

This page sets out how we handle cancellations and rescheduling, so you know where you stand from the day you book.

2. Deposit policy

A 50 percent retainer is required to confirm every booking. The retainer is non refundable.

It secures your date and stops us booking another shoot in that slot.

3. Rescheduling

Rescheduling is permitted up to 14 days before the session.

Your retainer transfers to a mutually available new date at no extra cost.

4. Late rescheduling

Within 14 days of the shoot, the retainer is forfeited.

The only exception is when a like for like replacement date can be found in the same week.

5. Cancellation by you

If you cancel the booking, the retainer is forfeited.

If the balance has already been paid, we refund the balance only. The deposit stays with the studio.

6. Cancellation by us

In rare cases we may need to cancel due to illness, equipment failure, or events outside reasonable control.

When this happens, we refund every payment received in full. Where possible, we also recommend a comparable studio so your plans are not derailed.

7. Weather (outdoor sessions)

If weather affects an outdoor session, we reschedule to the next mutually available date at no charge.

The retainer carries over to the new date.

8. No show

If essential persons arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may reduce coverage time accordingly.

The full fee stands.

9. Revisions

If you are unhappy with the gallery, please request a revision rather than a refund.
